Adnan Januzaj has vowed to prove himself to Jose Mourinho, writes Mirror Football's Simon Bird.
The winger
has been loaned to Sunderland after Manchester United deemed him not ready for
their title challenge this season.
Januzaj
admits he has been in the wilderness for two seasons, including limited games at United and a disappointing loan move
to Borussia Dortmund last season.
He burst
onto the first team scene with a brilliant performance against Sunderland two
years ago, and hopes David Moyes can revive his career at the Stadium of Light.
Asked what
his mission on Wearside was, Januzaj said: “It is just to prove to some of the people that they were wrong (about me).
“I will work hard to show they were wrong over the past few years.”
