I HOPE you’re listening Jose Mourinho… Marcus Rashford is officially Manchester United’s best striker.
The England forward, 18, has been far and away the most impressive striker in all competitions at the Old Trafford club since making his debut on February 25 of this year.
You’ll recall of course that Rashford was a last-second call-up to the United line-up against FC Midtjylland in the Europa League thanks to a training injury sustained by Anthony Martial.
And boy did Rashford repay the faith shown in him – netting a brace to burst into the public eye.

The United youngster has never looked back either, scoring winners against Manchester City and Arsenal last season before bagging a spot in Roy Hodgson‘s England squad for Euro 2016.
In fact, since his debut all the way back in February, no Man United striker has scored more than his ten, including his strike in the disappointing 3-1 loss at the hands of Watford on Sunday.
Martial – whose injury gave Rashford his shot in the first team – comes in second with seven goals.
The England ace’s only real competition comes from Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who, although he has only found the net five times, has done so in a very short space of time since arriving at Carrington in the summer.
Juan Mata – once a shoe-in to be sold by the Special One who has now solidified his place in the United starting XI – tales the fourth spot with four goals.
Marouane Fellaini, Jesse Lingard, Wayne Rooney and Ander Herrera have all netted just twice since February, with Roo’s goalless spell particularly distressing for United fans, while three players have netting a single goal.
Worringly, £25million-man Memphis Depay is one to have scored just a once, while Matteo Darmian and Ashley Young complete to FULL list of scorers for United since February.
It speaks volumes of the dry spell the squad endured towards the end of last season under Louis van Gaal.

And while things began to look up under Mr Mourinho very quickly, they have slumped equally rapidly, losing three matches in a row…
That’s the he first time Jose has suffered that feat since 2006 while at Chelsea…
