Despite roping in two quality Strikers in Ismaila Diarra and Paul Mungai Kiongera, AFC is still interested in signing immediate former Azam FC striker Allan Wanga.
Wanga is club-less after parting ways with Azam and with the future of Kepha Aswani at the den unclear, Ingwe is in talks with their former attacker over a possible return to the club as a replacement for the current club’s top scorer.
A source in Leopards camp has revealed that the club’s management will meet the striker for talks before the end of the week. The player is also reported to be a target for Kenyan Premier League (KPL) leaders Tusker FC.
Aswani replacement
-Aswani is wanted by an Omani club and we need his replacement before the transfer window closes. We are in talks with Wanga and we hope to reach an agreement before the window closes, the source told Futaa.com.
The transfer window shuts on Saturday 2 July.
