After three albums with Arista/J Records and RCA, Jennifer Hudson is ready to take her talents elsewhere. She has landed at Epic Records under CEO L.A Reid.
According to information circulated to media outlets that also appear at Epic Records website, the Chicago native who recently reminded us how talented she is during BET Awards 2016, she is already working on something at Epic.
Part of the statement reads; “Jennifer Hudson is the defining voice of this generation. Her award-winning presence on records, in film, and on stage establishes her as one of the premiere artists to emerge in this century. I’m enjoying collaborating with my friend and mentor Clive Davis on Jennifer’s first Epic album and excited for her fans to hear what we’re up to… all will be revealed soon!
Jenifer Hudson, 35, who released her self-titled debut album in 2008 after competing on American Idol‘s third season in 2004, is also an Oscar award winner for her role as Effie White in 2006’s Dreamgirls.
