After an impressive season with Lazio last year, Felipe Anderson was strongly  linked with a potential move to Manchester United, although the transfer ultimately failed to materialise, something which the player has not forgotten.
The Brazilian’s impressive 2014/15 campaign ended with Anderson notching a tally of 10 goals and eight assists, leaving many clubs in Europe eager for his services, one of which being the Red Devils.
However, the English giants were unable to agree with Lazio on a suitable fee for the player, leaving Anderson to stay on in Serie A for an additional season.
Compared to what came before it, the 2015/16 campaign was average at best for Anderson and there has consequently been very little speculation in regards to a potential Stadio Olimpico departure.
“I don’t know why nothing happened with Manchester United,” Anderson admitted to globeosporte.com. “But I remain calm, I have a long contract ahead of me and a good relationship with my club.”
Still just 23-years-old, Anderson feels he can afford to be patient in regards to a move away from the Aquile.
“When I get an offer that’s good for me, but also for Lazio, then I’ll consider leaving Rome,” he concluded.
